Charter School Studied for TISD

TYLER � Tyler school trustees are considering the possibility of creating a charter school in the city. Kim Tunnell with Tyler ISD presented the plan last night. If school trustees approve the project, a federal grant would be sought. The campus would be strictly academically based, and would allow students to graduate with the equivalent of an Associates Degree. Some parents who spoke with KETK about the proposed charter school said they feel that another option for students is always a good addition.
