Kilgore Woman Charged with Assault of Public Servant

KILGORE � A Kilgore woman has been arrested, accused of assault of a public servant and other charges. KETK and the Longview News-Journal report Holly Sheppard, 21, was arrested about 9:30 Friday night in her home in the 3200 block of State Highway 31 by Kilgore police. In addition to assault of a public servant, police charged Sheppard with resisting arrest or transport and interfering with public duties. She was held Saturday in the Gregg County Jail on more than $18,000 in bonds. Further details on the case weren�t immediately available.
