Grand Saline Suspect at Large

GRAND SALINE — A shooting near Grand Saline has left one person injured. The suspect, who is considered to be armed and dangerous, is being sought. The shooting happened yesterday morning. The suspect is identified as William Lee Honea, 31, of Yantis. He may be traveling with Cortney Summerlin, 25, of Camp Wood.
Authorities say the two may be in one of three vehicles: a black Chevrolet Z71 pickup truck, a white 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck or a gold dually-style pickup truck. Besides the shooting, Honea is wanted for possession of a controlled substance following an incident last September. He’s currently free on bond for shooting at a DPS trooper. Summerlin is wanted in Wood county on two counts of forgery and one count of credit card abuse.
