New Superintendent in Jefferson ISD

JEFFERSON — The lone finalist for school superintendent in Jefferson is Rob Barnwell. School trustees on Monday night named Barnwell the lone finalist for the post. According to the school website, Barnwell will be coming to Jefferson from Queen City ISD where he has served as superintendent the past nine years. After the required 21 day waiting period the board anticipates hiring him at the August 12th meeting and have him start work the following day.
