Fire Destroys Barn, $75,000 Worth of Equipment

longviewbarnfireketkLONGVIEW — An early morning Longview fire destroyed a barn including $75,000 worth of farming equipment. KETK reports Longview firefighters responded to a call around 1:00am Monday about some smoke coming from a building in the 2100 block of East Marshall Avenue. When officials arrived on scene, the barn was fully engulfed. Among the items destroyed in the blaze were a Bobcat tractor, a truck, a lawn mower, and round bales of hay. The cause remains under investigation.
