Texans Against Crime Kick-Off Party Planned

LONGVIEW — Texans Against Crime will host a Kick-off event for party hosts in Longview on Tuesday, September 10th, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Maude Cobb Convention & Activity Center, 100 Grand Boulevard. Participants will have the opportunity to visit with other Texans Against Crime party hosts and law enforcement personnel, pick up yard signs, and visit informational booths.

All citizens are being encouraged to participate in the Texans Against Crime night by hosting or attending one of the many TAC parties on October 8th. According to Longview police, TAC parties are designed to promote neighborhood alliances that strengthen communities and preserve the quality of life in Longview and Gregg County. This will also be the third year an award will be given for the Best Neighborhood Crime Watch group in Longview.
