Five Arrested in Nacogdoches on Drug Charges

NACOGDOCHES � Five people have been arrested and over two pounds of marijuana have been seized in Nacogdoches after two search warrants were executed early Tuesday morning. KETK reports officers of the Nacogdoches Police Department executed the warrants simultaneously at two residences next door to each other on Humphrey Road. Officers say they recovered marijuana, hydrocodone and prescription medication during the operation.

The following were arrested as a result of the investigation:

Lyterric Simon- Possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous drug.
Tina Smith- Possession of Marijuana and possession of a dangerous drug.
Ray Simon- Warrant for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana.
Idiris Whitaker- Felony possession of marijuana- 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Antonio Whitaker- Felony possession of marijuana.
