One Child Killed, One Injured in Afternoon Wreck

GREGG COUNTY � A child was killed and another injured following a wreck in Gregg County. According to KETK, Longview Police responded to reports of a car that had driven into a guardrail near mile marker 595 on Interstate Highway 20 just after 2:45 Saturday afternoon. When police arrived on the scene, they found Adam Ross Bryant, 30, along with his kids, trapped inside their vehicle. Officials used the jaws of life to get them out of the car. Bryant was not injured in the crash but his two children were taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injures. Evan Ross Bryant, 4, died at the hospital. Sadie Bryant, 6, was taken to a Dallas area hospital. Her condition is unknown. The crash remains under investigation.
