Rains School Worker Hit by Car, Airlifted to Hospital

EMORY � An employee in the Rains Independent School District was airlifted to a local hospital after being hit by a car Thursday morning. According to KETK, the DPS says the elementary school aide was walking across Highway 69 to the school when she was struck as the vehicle turned into the school parking lot. There was no immediate word on the woman’s name, her condition, or other circumstances surrounding the incident.
