Early Voting Continues in Smith County

thumb_voting-computerTYLER — The Smith County Elections Office is now offering early voting for the November 5 election. The Elections Office is located at 302 E. Ferguson, just two buildings east of its previous location in the Smith County Courthouse Annex. Early voting will be available October 21- November 1 at the following times:

Smith Elections Department: 302 E Ferguson Street, Tyler, Texas, 75702
· Oct. 21 – 25 – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Oct. 28 – 30 – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Oct. 31 & Nov. 1 – 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Additionally, early voting will be available at the following times and locations throughout the county:

· Chapel Hill Middle School: 13174 Hwy 64 E – Oct. 22, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
· Jackson Elementary School: 16406 FM 2767 – Oct. 24, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Kissam Elementary School: 12800 Hwy 64 E – Oct. 25, 8am – 5 p.m.
· Wise Elementary School: 10659 Hwy 64 E – Oct. 31, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
· Chapel Hill High School: 13172 Hwy 64 E – Nov. 1, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Nine Texas constitutional amendments, local option alcohol elections for JP Precinct 1 and JP Precinct 4, and a bond election for Chapel Hill ISD are included in the November 2013 election. Remember that photo ID is now required by Texas state law to vote. Visit http://www.votetexas.gov for more information. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.
