lindsey2PALM BEACH, FL The Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office has positively identified the body found Thursday in a sugarcane field as the missing Palm Beach County school nurse. According to deputies, the missing person case is now a homicide investigation. Kimberly Lindsey, 49, formerly of Jacksonville, Texas, vanished Sunday after returning to her Palm Beach Gardens home. Her ex-husband, considered to be the main suspect, has been found dead. Albert Lambert is said to have died from a drug overdose. He was found dead at a sister’s house in Miami.

His Ex-wife’s car was found in her driveway and her belongings were in the house. An investigation at the residence indicated a violent confrontation occurred in which her body was removed and taken to the remote area where it was discovered, according to deputies. The cause of death has not been determined.

Lindsey failed to show up to work at Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach on Monday prompting the school district to contact WPB authorities. Lindseys aunt, Gina Lindsey Priest, contacted KETK saying authorities, family members and friends were concerned for her well-being. A Facebook page was set up to help support the search for Lindsey. A trust fund has been set up for her daughters in Florida and donations can be made to the following:
