missingkidspicssmithcoTYLER The four missing Smith County children who were allegedly abducted by their non-custodial mother Monday reportedly tested positive for methamphetamine last year. KETK reports that according to Child Protective Services spokeswoman Shari Pulliam, the children were tested after being taken from their home during a drug raid on December 10, 2013. All of the kids allegedly had traces of meth in their system.

The Smith County Sheriffs Office is asking for the publics assistance in locating the four children who officials say were taken in violation of a court order. Dora Elia Martinez, 33, 51″, 135 pounds, allegedly took her four children from the home of a relative on March 24. The children had been placed there by Child Protective Services after the December narcotics raid. Martinez reportedly told the relative that she had permission to take the children.

The Smith County Sheriffs Office is searching for Martinez and for the children:
Jared Ayala-Martinez 4 mos.
Jesus Ayala-Martinez age 5
Jose Ayala-Martinez age 7
Jonhy Ayala-Martinez age 10

Dora Elia Martinez is wanted on four counts of interference with child custody, which is a state jail felony. Officials say she may be driving an older model maroon four-door Ford Explorer. Martinez and the two oldest children are pictured at left. Anyone with information is asked to call the Smith County Sheriffs Office at 903-566-6600. The father of the children is currently in jail for alleged manufacturing and delivery of an illegal substance.
