Selective Traffic Enforcement Program for Speeding

TYLER � The Tyler Police Department is participating in a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP), looking for speed violators in targeted areas where accidents and speeding are reported as problems. The program started yesterday and runs through this Friday under a Texas-funded grant that provides extra traffic enforcement for law enforcement agencies who participate within the guidelines. Police remind you to watch your speed and drive safely.
