Drug Sweep Results in Numerous Arrests
Posted/updated on: June 28, 2014 at 5:42 amRUSK COUNTY — The Rusk County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Division has arrested five people as part of a drug sweep.Sgt. David Roberts, spokesman for the Rusk County Sheriffs Office, issued a statement Wednesday detailing Operation Ice Storm.
According to KETK, those arrested are:
Jonathan Swindell, 34, of Carlisle on June 16, charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance, MDMA, also known as ecstasy. Additional delivery of a controlled substance charges are pending against Swindell.
Traci Berry, 23, of Henderson on June 16, charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
Jerry Warren, 34, of Henderson on June 19, charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Additional theft charges are pending against Warren.
Curtis Howard, 31, of Kilgore on Monday, charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance, MDMA. Additional charges of delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon are pending against Howard.
James Dennis, 34, of Kilgore on Monday, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
Roberts said the Rusk County Sheriffs Office Criminal/Narcotics Investigation Division anticipates additional arrests from the investigation.
