TYLER — As an ongoing effort to improve customer service, Tyler Water Utilities will be conducting computer software upgrades this weekend, according to a city news release. Note that these upgrades will affect online and telephone payment options.

From 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, through 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, customers will be unable to make water bill payments online through Click2gov or by telephone. Anyone wishing to make a payment can place it in one of the two available drop boxes. One is located in front of the Tyler Water Utilities office at 511 Locust Street. Another is a drive-up box located in the Brookshire’s parking lot on the corner of South Broadway Avenue and Rice Road. Payments placed in these boxes will be credited on the next business day. Customers are asked not to drop cash into these boxes. The Tyler Water Utilities Business Office will also be open during regular business hours to serve customers.
