Store Evacuated Following Bomb Threat

MT. PLEASANT — A bomb threat led to an evacuation of the Walmart in Mt. Pleasant. According to Mt. Pleasant Police, the threat was called in shortly after 6:15 Saturday evening. Authorities evacuated employees and customers and searched the store for about an hour. Nothing suspicious was found and the store was reopened. Police are still investigating the threat.
