Man Arrested with Alleged Crystal Meth

ATHENS � Deputies took one person into custody Tuesday after they allegedly found a suspect with drugs at a local hotel. KETK reports that according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, at 5 a.m., authorities investigated suspicious activity at the Lake Palestine Motel on State Highway 155. Deputies say they found Kevin Ingram of Chandler with a plastic bag containing alleged crystal meth. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Henderson County Jail for possession of a controlled substance. Ingram was released on $7,500 bond. He faces up to 10 years in jail and a $10,000 fine if found guilty.
