Grand Saline-Area Home Goes Up in Flames

VAN ZANDT COUNTY � A Van Zandt County home has been destroyed by fire. KETK reports that the county fire marshal, along with the Grand Saline and Fruitvale Fire Departments, responded to the blaze Tuesday morning. The fire erupted on Van Zandt County Road 1712, north of Grand Saline. One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation; authorities said the person’s injuries were minor. Crews extinguished the fire in the early afternoon.
