Funeral Services Set for Coffee City Mayor
Posted/updated on: February 28, 2015 at 4:00 pmFRANKSTON — Funeral services are set for Ray Wakeman, who was serving as Coffee City mayor when he died Wednesday at age 78. Services will be held at 4 p.m.today at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with Chaplain Robert Fisher, according to the funeral home website. Interment will be at Frankston City Cemetery. According to KETK, Wakeman’s son says the mayor suffered a major stroke. Wakeman was sworn into office in December 2012. He lived in Coffee City for more than 30 years and previously served on the city council. According to his Facebook page, Wakeman attended Marshall High School.
