Child Injured in Fatal Crash Moved Out of ICU

b_s9zbhu0aaalunTYLER — Officials with ETMC in Tyler announced Thursday afternoon that Ashlee Regester is out of ICU and is now listed in good condition following a recent crash that killed two people. KETK reports the other two Regester children were treated and released. Their names will not be released, per the father’s request. No information has been made available on Caleb Chadwell. He was taken to Trinity Mother Frances. Ashlee was critically injured last week when a vehicle driven by Carl Crabtree crashed into her mom’s SUV on Old Jacksonville Highway south of Tyler. The driver of the SUV, Dana Regester, 41, of Flint, was pronounced dead at the scene. Pasha Zapolsky, 18, of Bullard, who was sitting in the passenger’s side front seat, was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. Crabtree was later charged with two counts of intoxication mansluaghter.
