karnackindiansmarshallnewsKARNACK — For more than three quarters of a century, students have packed the classrooms at an East Texas high school that’s now on the chopping block. Beginning next fall, Karnack students in grades nine through twelve will be relocated. Officials say the move’s being made because not enough youngsters are now enrolling at Karnack High. Pupils who would have previously gone there will attend class in neighboring school districts such as the Waskom, Jefferson, and Marshall ISDs.
