One Killed in Mount Pleasant Crash

MOUNT PLEASANT – a two vehicle accident in Mount Pleasant has left one person dead. The accident happened just before 11:45 Sunday morning in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 271. The victim is identified as Adolfo Olvera, 24, of Pittsburg. He died shortly after the wreck at Titus Regional Medical Center. KETK reports the accident happened when Olvera’s car failed to stop at a red signal light and hit a pickup driven by Teresa French Baugh, 49, of Mount Pleasant. Braugh and her passenger were not hospitalized. The crash remains under investigation.
