Two Arrested in Anderson County Murder
Posted/updated on: April 8, 2015 at 5:15 pmPALESTINE – Two persons have been arrested in Anderson County with the Easter Sunday murder of Michael Cecil Espinosa, 34. Charged with murder are James Robert Kennedy, 26, and Juan Fernando Rangel, 35. Each are under a $1 million. Sheriff Taylor says Kennedy was arrested around 3:34 Tuesday afternoon at the Whispering Pine Apartments in Palestine. A short time later Rangel was arrested in Crockett.
Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor says deputies were dispatched to a home in the 3000 block of Farm Road 320 shortly after 6:00 Sunday evening. They found a Espinosa on the front porch of the house with an apparent gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to a Palestine hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
