Capital Murder Suspect Arrested in Marshall

MARSHALL — A Garland murder suspect has been arrested in Marshall. Arrested around 7:15 Wednesday night was Xavier Tyrell Smith, 23. He was charged with capital murder for a death that occurred last month. KETK reports a search warrant was executed at a home in the 1000 block of Kahn Street. When it was learned that Smith was at a nearby residence, they got permission to search the house. Smith, who was found in a bedroom of the house, was arrested without incident.
