Smith County Robbery Suspect Arrested in Las Vegas
Posted/updated on: August 24, 2015 at 2:31 amSMITH COUNTY — A Tyler man wanted in connection to a Smith County robbery has been arrested in Las Vegas. According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, Justin Lamar Tave, 25, was arrested Thursday night in Nevada. Tave was wanted for a robbery at a home on Highway 69, August 6th. Two other suspects, Ammad Kentrail Williams and Sidarius Gene Alexander, were arrested a short time after the robbery. The three suspects are accused of ransacking the home, macing and tying up the female resident and stealing a safe along with other items. The Smith County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Rangers and the US Marshal’s Task Force in Tyler and Las Vegas worked together to apprehend the fugitive.
