More Arrests in Bunny’s Shooting

Phillip Paul PottsLONGVIEW — The Longview Police Department has now arrested five people in connection with an August shooting at the Bunny’s store in northern Smith County, bringing this week’s arrest total to six in the case. According to KETK, police say Longview SWAT served a warrant on 15th Street around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they received information a suspect involved in a fatal shooting was at the location. Police were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody. Three other men at the location were also arrested and taken to the Gregg County Jail. One man died in the Bunny’s melee, in which more than 300 people were said to be involved.

Those arrested were:

Joshua O. Hale, 21, Longview, seven outstanding warrants, Quinndale L. Wofford, 26, Longview, three outstanding warrants and possession of marijuana, DeKaylen K. Daniels, 20, Longview, who had a Smith County felony warrant and Tyson D. Dixon, 22, Longview, one outstanding warrant. Paul Potts (pictured), 32, Tyler, was arrested in Tyler in connection with the incident. And D’mio Ingram was arrested in Longview just after 8:00 Thursday evening in the Willow Park area, in the south part of the city. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
