Longview House Fire Injures Four, One Placed in ICU

LVFIRE101915_1445284412742_5236129_ver1.0LONGVIEW — Four people, including a firefighter, have been reported injured, and one of them was seriously hurt in a Longview house fire that broke out Monday afternoon. According to KETK, the Longview Fire Department says the home is near Idylwood Drive and Twelfth Street. Officials at the scene said a woman at the location suffered burns and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where she was placed in the intensive care unit. An 18-year-old man reportedly helped save the woman and called for help. A man and a 3-year-old were also inside the house at the time of the fire. The man and 3-year-old were treated for smoke inhalation. Assistant Fire Chief Curtis Shaw said the firefighter suffered minor burns and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Names were not immediately available.
