Jessica AnguloTYLER — Officials have arrested two suspects, one on multiple charges, after they allegedly burglarized a home in Smith County. Sheriff’s deputies got a call around 2 p.m. Monday saying a pickup that had been reported stolen from a local business was seen at a residence on CR 328E. Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy Brad Wilson saw the truck parked in the driveway of a home that appeared to be vacant. After he checked the registration on the vehicle, Wilson says it did show to be stolen.

While Wilson was speaking with a woman in the vehicle identified as Jessica Angulo, members of the U.S. Marshal’s task force arrived to assist. At that time a man later identified as Aaron Ray Williams reportedly came out of the side window of the residence and was detained by Deputy Wilson. Upon checking Williams through dispatch it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant for parole violation, for which he was then placed under arrest.

The homeowner said no one lives at the residence and neither of the individuals had permission to enter it. Authorities say after further checking, both individuals were found to be in possession of property that was removed from the residence without the owner’s permission. Deputy Wilson questioned Williams about being at the residence; Williams said he had come to ask about yard work and went into the residence to get something to drink. Officials say Williams did admit to taking several items from the home.

Williams questioned Williams about driving the truck, and Williams reportedly admitted driving the vehicle to the location with Angulo. At that time Williams and Angulo were charged with burglary of a habitation. Williams was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest or detention. Williams is being held on bonds totaling $60,500, and Angulo’s bond is set at $5,000. The investigation is continuing, and both suspects remain in custody.
