Longview Council Candidates Stepping Forward

LONGVIEW – Candidates have started filing for the city elections in Longview. Longview residents in May will elect council members in District 5 and District 6. On the opening day for filing on Wednesday, two candidates stepped forward. The incumbent candidate for the Northwest District 5, David Wight, has filed for re-election. In Central District 6, dental hygienist Karen Maines filed for the post now held by Sidney Allen. The filing deadline is February 20th.
