BBB Holds Annual Awards Banquet

betterbusinessbureauTYLER — The Better Business Bureau held it’s awards banquet Tuesday at the Crosswalk Conference Center where they presented the Awards for Excellence to three companies and one nonprofit organization. Criss Sudduth, owner of Ark Assurance Group, was awarded BBB Ambassador of the Year for his volunteer involvement with BBB related activities.

The winner for the small business category: Custom Pool Designs. Winner for the medium size business category: Straightline Siding. Winner for the large business category: East Texas Alarm. And the winner for the nonprofit category was East Texas Symphony Orchestra.

The Kay Robinson Student of Integrity Video Scholarship is awarded to Haley Cloninger from Carthage High School. She received a $1,000 scholarship. Joseph Mallari from Bishop TK Gorman High School was awarded a $2,000 scholarship.

Winners are chosen by an independent panel of judges.
