East Texas Road Closure Update

EAST TEXAS — Overnight storms have necessitated road closures across the Tyler District. Crews continue to monitor roads for flooding and damage. Here are the latest road condition updates for the Tyler District but the list is constantly changing as water recedes or issues discovered.

Anderson County Closures:

SL 127 is closed from Loop 256 to E Calhoun Street due to washout (closed for several days for repairs)

Cherokee County Closures:

FM 23 from just west of FM 752 to 5 miles south of 1857, FM 1247 from just south of FM 1911 to west of FM 1819 (at Larrison Creek), SH 135 from 1 mile north of FM 15 to 3.8 miles east of FM 177. FM 1857 from west of FM 23 to north of FM 23, FM 2064 from south of FM 2750 to east of SH 135

Gregg County Closures:

FM 2012 from north of SH 31, to 1.1 miles south of SH 31, SH 31 from 5.6 miles west of SH 135 to BU 259G

Rusk County Closures: SH 43 from just east of FM 1716

Smith County Closures:

FM 1804 from south of US 80 to east of US 69, FM 346 from north of FM 855 to north of SH 110 (Whitehouse to Troup)

Van Zandt County Closures:

FM 857 south of US 80

Wood County Closures:

FM 2422 from US 80 to FM 1804 due to a washout (closed for several days due to washout), FM 49 from FM 312 to FM 2869, FM 69 from SH 37 to FM 515, FM 1254 from Loop 564 to FM 778, FM 312 from FM 49 to SH 154, FM 515 from County Road 4250 to County Road 4230, FM 1804 from south of US 80 to north of US 69
