North Tyler Clinic Open

TYLER — A new clinic has opened in Tyler. UT Health Northeast – North Tyler Clinic is at 2231 West Gentry Parkway near Caldwell Zoo. The clinic will provide primary care for north Tyler residents who have been having to travel pretty far north of south to get medical care. Dr. Amber Cook says they have 13 exam rooms, several officers for primary care providers, a ful service lab and a X-ray machine.
Dr. Cooks says most of the time patients will be coming in for a general checkup or a followup for chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol. They also provide preventative health care, mammograms, colonoscopy and pap smears.
The clinic’s hours are regular business hours Monday through Friday. It will also be open the 4th Saturday of every month from 8:00 am till noon. An open house is scheduled at the clinic. You can tour the clinic and sample some refreshments Thursday from 5:00 till 7:00pm.
