Efrain Serrano-Ramirez, 37, was arrested Monday by the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force. He was taken into custody in an apartment at 5105 Old Bullard Road. He had been named in arrest warrants from Los Angeles for murder in connection with a gas station shooting in 2006. It is believed he initially fled to Mexico to avoid prosecution. Later, there was evidence he could possibly be living in Texas under the alias of Jose Miguel Navarro. When investigators determined where he was living, he was arrested without incidence.
