Anderson County Game Wardens Find Body

ANDERSON COUNTY — Anderson County game wardens say the body of a 36-year-old Jacksonville man was found in the Neches River behind Lake Palestine spillway. KETK reports the victim, Israel Rincon, was trying to help children Saturday night around 7:00. According to game wardens, some children were playing in the water. One or more got into distress. Adults jumped in to try and help the children. Rincon went under and was missing before a crew found his body. There were no other injuries.
