A Marshall City Commissioner Banned from Town Hall Meetings

MARSHALL – A Marshall city commissioner is free on bond following his Wednesday night arrest. Commissioner Michael Mitchell was arrested after being accused of disrupting a meeting. The meeting had been set to answer questions and to interact with police officers in an effort to build a stronger community bond. Justice of the Peace Nancy George set his bond at $1,500. A condition of his bond is that he is banned from future town hall meetings. He can, however, attend city commission meetings.
