Victim Identified in Fatal Tyler Accident

TYLER – Tyler police have identified the person killed in a vehicle/pedestrian accident around 4:00 Monday afternoon. Ananias Martinez-Reyna, 43, of Tyler, was the victim in the mishap on U.S. Highway 271 at County Road 382, also known as the Old Gladewater Highway. Police say Martinez-Reyna stepped into the path of an SUV. The accident caused long traffic delays in the area until the area was cleared around 8:15 Monday evening.
