Man Charged in Cherokee County Murder
Posted/updated on: December 2, 2016 at 2:32 pmMT. SELMAN – A Cherokee County man has been arrested on a murder charge. Rayburn Hobbs, 82, has been charged with the death of Jimmie Gale Zinn, 69. His body was found Wednesday afternoon in a mobile home on County Road 3706. Hobbs owns the home. Zinn’s body was sent to East Texas Forensics in Tyler for an autopsy. It appears he had been shot to death. Hobbs’ bond was set Thursday at $1 million.
