Two Henderson County Burglary Suspects Arrested

ATHENS – Two persons have been arrested at an Athens pawn shot with stolen items. Ethan Wang, 19, and Haleigh Pierce, 21, went into a local pawn shop Wednesday afternoon hoping to sell stolen items. After being alerted by a concerned resident, Henderson County Deputy John Haverly and Athens police officers checked it out. They found the items had earlier been stolen. More items from the burglary were discovered in their car along with what was believed to be a controlled substance. Both have been charged with burglary of a habitation. Pierce was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
