After two final interviews and a one hour executive session Thursday night, school trustees named Sedric Clark as the district’s lone superintendent finalist. He had been the Foster Middle School principal from 2004 to 2010. He left to become principal at Mansfield High School in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, where he is today. They must now wait at least 21 days before officially offering Clark a contract. He will succeed J.P. Richardson, who resigned in March to become school superintendent in Tatum.
