TYLER — A suspended Smith County constable Wednesday completed his six-month federal sentence. According to our news partner KETK, Henry Jackson was released from a halfway house where he’d been placed in mid-April. That was after he served time in prison for willful failure to file federal income tax returns. Jackson pleaded guilty to four counts in 2017. He was sentenced to the six-month term and ordered to pay more than $150,000 in restitution. Jackson has been an elected constable since 1999.
