Marshall Police Search for Fugitive

MARSHALL — Marshall police are asking for the public’s help in locating a fugitive. Oscar Lavelle Smith Jr., 26, of Marshall, is wanted on an aggravated assault warrant from an incident June, 18. When officers arrived on the scene they found a victim suffering serious but non -life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall for treatment. Smith is described as a black male, about 5’7” and weighs around 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
