Meet Diego! Diego is a charming Chihuahua mix who's ready to find a loving forever home. He came to us after his previous owner faced serious health challenges, and now this little guy is looking for someone who can give him the care and stability he deserves. Diego has a sweet, friendly personality and loves being around people. He enjoys snuggling, gentle playtime, and exploring his surroundings at his own comfortable pace.

DAY 2: PEACHY

Peachy is a small, sassy 7 month old corgi mix with the funniest little attitude and the cutest wiggle butt. When Smith County Animal Control & Shelter asked if we could help her, we didn't hesitate.This tiny girl was fighting: hookworms, roundworms, coccidia, Demodex mange, and even road rash! Peachy is now beginning a long healing journey that will include medicated baths, probiotics, a healthy diet, ongoing treatments, and months of tender care. DAY 3: REMINGTON

Remington is a 1 year old Red Heeler with a heart as big as Texas. This tough little guy was hit by a car on Hwy 31 in Tyler, and both of his front legs had to be rebuilt with orthopedic surgery, but you'd never know it now! He's made a full recovery and lives every day like it's his best one yet. Remington is a very social and happy boy who loves to run, romp around the yard, and make friends wherever he goes.

DAY 4: CINDERELLA

Cinderella was rescued from Smith County Animal Control on the very day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She is a goofy and affectionate girl who’s been through a lot but never lost her sparkle. She loves belly rubs, sunbathing, and curling up beside her humans.

DAY 5: IREAN

Irean is a 2 year old terrier mix currently at Smith County Animal Control & Shelter in Tyler, TX. Irean arrived at the shelter emaciated to the point she was only skin and bones... but with care and time, she has grown into a beautiful little lady with so much love to give. She is shy but affectionate, always happy, loves treats and spending time with people. She's a very good girl, ready to give her whole heart to someone who will cherish her furever.

DAY 6: HENNY

Henny is a 1.5 year old terrier mix currently at Smith County Animal Control & Shelter in Tyler, TX. We honestly don't know how she's still there! She would be the perfect match for an active person or a family who loves to laugh, explore, and be loved fiercely. She is food motivated, up to date on her vaccines, and a strong, happy, healthy girl with a heart big enough for everyone she meets. What makes her even more special, Henny is a hero dog! She has donated blood to help save the lives of other dogs in need.

DAY 7: LINCOLN

Lincoln is a brave, resilient boy who has survived unthinkable challenges—including life on the streets with only half a leg! Despite his rough past, this gentle giant has so much love to give. Lincoln is searching for a safe, loving home where he can finally rest, and know the comfort of a family.

DAY 8: BROCK

When we found Brock, he and his brother (Bodhi) were trapped deep inside a collapsed drainage culvert; starving, weak, and being eaten alive by parasites. No one knows how long they’d been down there, but it was clear they had been fighting to stay alive for far too long. Brock loves every person he meets and gets along with other dogs. He is happiest when it’s time to play — especially if there’s a squeaky tennis ball involved — but he’s just as content to curl up nearby and keep you company. Brock is the kind of dog who fits effortlessly into your life and would make a wonderful low maintenance companion.

DAY 9: OMAR

Omar was rescued from Smith County Animal Control. He's a 2.5 year old neutered male shepherd mix with all the traits you'd expect from this intelligent and loyal breed. Omar is alert, people oriented, and thrives when he has a sense of purpose. He gets along well with other animals, adapts quickly to new routines, and would make a wonderful addition to an active home or a family with plenty of space for him to stretch his legs and feel included.

DAY 10: BALU

Balu is a deaf 6 year old Blue Heeler mix with a heart of gold. He is potty and kennel trained, and is one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet. Balu loves people of all ages and is friendly with other dogs. His favorite things in life are going for walks, snuggling in bed, and happily chewing on his bones. Because Balu can't hear, he will need an adopter who understands his unique needs. Someone patient and gentle who won't startle him and who's ready to embrace his different way of communicating. With the right person, Balu will be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.

DAY 11: AMARI

This happy 2 year old girl has overcome so much. Found as a stray on an abandoned farm, Amari gave birth to 10 precious puppies in a dirty doghouse... she has healed fully from mange and blossomed into one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met. Amari is gentle, laid back, and always ready to flash her signature smile. She is house, kennel, and leash trained. She gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, and cats. Whether she's snuggling on the couch or just hanging out by your side, Amari's nonchalant charm is sure to steal your heart. She's truly one of the best.

DAY 12: FAYE

Faye is undoubtedly the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She is a gentle senior German Shepherd who is happiest when she's curled up on a comfy couch right next to her favorite people. She has a calm, easygoing personality and would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a relaxed, affectionate best friend. This lovely lady also has fantastic manners! She is house, kennel, and potty trained. Faye gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. She moves through life with grace, kindness, and a heart full of love. If you're looking for a truly perfect fur friend who wants nothing more than soft beds, gentle pets, and being part of the family, Faye is your girl.
